Ariel Frankel is a public health professional with experience in monitoring and evaluation, formative research and design, and international program management. Ariel worked most recently in Nairobi, Kenya to pilot a mobile application designed to help women experiencing intimate partner violence. Prior to this, Ariel worked at an international development monitoring and evaluation firm, conducting applied research using mixed methods to generate evidence on the effectiveness of programs for a variety of clients. She has additional experience in preventative and community health, having worked to provide antenatal care services to refugees in Tel Aviv, Israel. She is passionate about the intersection of research and community mobilization, and the use of technology in catalyzing health behavior change among marginalized populations. Ariel holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.
