Mary has more than 25 years of experience managing and directing research and evaluations of the U.S. public health system, accreditation and preparedness programs, and community health improvement partnerships. She has provided evaluation capacity building assistance to a variety of organizations from community non-profit organizations to national foundations.
Mary also has content expertise in integrated behavioral health, quality improvement and performance management, and hospital community benefit strategies. She provides leadership in project strategic direction, research and evaluation design strategies, evaluation capacity building, analysis and report writing, and working with clients to disseminate and use results.
Over her 25-year career, Dr. Davis has worked in academic, for profit, and non-profit sectors. Her work is published in journal articles and blogs and she has extensive experience creating and presenting at national conferences. Dr. Davis earned a doctorate in public health from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health and a master in public health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
